Day 1: Arrive Yichang / Yichang Sightseeing / Embark East King Or East Queen
Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Yichang (Museum & Three Visitors Cave). After dinner, transfer to the pier. Board cruise ship (from 8:00p). Four nights onboard the East King or East Queen. Meals: Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2: Depart Yichang / Yangtze River Cruise: Three Gorges Dam Site Shore Excursion
Enjoy the breathtaking panoramas of terraced hills, majestic peaks and lush bamboo groves as you cruise up the famous Yangtze River, into Xiling Gorge, one of the loveliest stretches of river scenery in the world. Afternoon shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site, the largest hydro electric project in the world. Go through the Three Gorges Dam 5-Stage Ship Locks this evening. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard cruise ship. |
Day 3: Yangtze River Cruise: Shennong Stream or White King Temple Shore Excursion
Enjoy the ever changing backdrop of historic antiquities, lush hillsides and charming villages as you exit Xiling Gorge and continues cruising upstream. Transfer to pea-shaped boat/sampan for scenic Shennong Stream which comprises the Parrot Gorge and Dragon Boat Gorge, and sail through breathtaking scenery and fascinating sights: ancient plank road, ancient cave coffins, aqueous caves, rainbow fountain and a chance to learn about the culture of the Tujia minority people. Return to cruise ship. Cruise through idyllic Wu Gorge and dramatic Qutang Gorge, its churning water cloistered by towering moss-clad sheer precipices. Note: Depending on water level, the Shennong Stream excursion will be replaced by a visit to White King Temple. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard cruise ship. |
Day 4: Yangtze River Cruise: Shiboazhai or Wanxian Shore Excursion
Depending on water level, this morning disembark at Shibaozhai for shore excursion. Marvel at one of the Yangtze's most spectacular sites, a 300-year old, 11-story wooden pagoda built against the side of a sheer rectangular cliff. Note: Depending on water level, the Shibaozhai shore excursion will be replaced by Wanxian shore excursion visiting a silk factory and the local market. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard cruise ship. |
Day 5: Disembark East King or East Queen / Depart Chongqing
After breakfast, disembark cruise ship (around 10:00a) and look for your local guide in the arrival area on the pier. Time permitting, sightseeing tour of Chongqing (Erling Park & Museum) followed by transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Meals: Breakfast onboard cruise ship. |
