Gyeongju, located southeast of Seoul, is steeped in history. Once one of the greatest cities in the world, it was the capital of the Shilla Kingdom (668-935AD) and subsequently all of Korea. Today, Gyeongju is a small country town with so many relics from the Shilla era that many call it a “Museum Without Walls.“

Day 1: Seoul to Gyeongju
This morning transfer from your hotel in Seoul to the train station. Express train to Gyeongju. Upon arrival visit Tumuli Park with many royal Shilla tombs, the National Museum and Chomsungdae, an ancient stone observatory.

Day 2: Gyeongju to Seoul
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing tour will visit Bulkuksa Temple and Sokkuram Grotto with its images of Buddha. Return to Seoul by express train. Upon arrival, your guide will assist you in taking a taxi to your hotel. Taxi fee not included.
