Day 1: Arrive Vientiane / Afternoon Sightseeing Tour
Arrive at Vientiane's Wattay International Airport on your own flight arrangements. Meet your driver after customs and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, meet your guide and enjoy a sightseeing tour, highlights include a visit to the Great Stupa the most important national monument in Laos, Patuxai a large monument in the style of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and Ho Pha Keo, the former royal temple.

Day 2: Vientiane to Luang Prabang (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. Set between the Nam Khan and Nam Ou rivers, Luang Prabang is an enchanting town filled with historic temples and colonial style buildings. The entire town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.Upon arrival, meet your personal guide and enjoy a private sightseeing tour. Tour highlights will include Wat Visoun, the oldest living temple in Luang Prabang. Visit Wat Xieng Thong, the crowning jewel of all the monasteries in the city. Finally, climb the stairs up Phu Si hill where you have a panoramic view of Luang Prabang at sunset (weather permitting). Continue to your hotel.

Day 3: Pak Ou Caves Excursion (B)
Breakfast at hotel. This morning stroll through the morning market. Also visit the National Museum (closed on Monday). Next enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves. These are two caves located in a steep rock cliff at the confluence of the Mekong River and Ou River. Inside are thousands of Buddha images of varying styles, ages and sizes. En route visit a village that makes láo-láo, the local rice whisky. Return to your hotel.

Day 4: Kuang Si Waterfall Excursion (B)
Breakfast at hotel. This morning travel by boat to visit minorities village of Ban Muang Khai. Continue by car to Kuang Si Waterfall, located in a perfect natural setting near Luang Prabang, this multi-tiered waterfall tumbles over limestone formations into a series of turquoise pools. Enjoy swimming in the clear water or just relaxing in the natural environment. Continue to Ban Tha Pene, a nearby Khmu village, before returning to Luang Prabang by vehicle.

Day 5: Depart Luang Prabang (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
